Sal & Alice Paturzo started Positanos Pizza with one thought in mind, to make the best home made Italian food anyone has ever tasted. Pizza dough, sauce, preparations and all orders are made the day of, each and every day.
They opened the first Positanos Pizza on Ashland Ave. making pizza dough by hand and now own the current location on 4312 W. 55th St, near Midway Airport. We have had the privilege of being at the Taste of Chicago in 1989 competing in a pizza sauce challenge with the Mayor, attended a pizza challenger contest at McCormick Place winning 3rd place with our stuffed pizza and attending countless local Chicago neighborhood festivals.
